Thank You to Our Outgoing Leadership Team
Are you looking to improve your public speaking, develop leadership skills, and join a supportive community in Hobsonville? Welcome to the Hobsonville Toastmasters Club—the best place to grow and connect!
As we begin the second half of 2025, I’m excited to introduce our newly elected Toastmasters Club Officers and share our ambitious Toastmasters Club Goals for the next six months. In just half a year, the Hobsonville Toastmasters Club has grown from zero to 30 active members, officially chartered, and built a reputation for energetic, inspiring meetings.
Today, I’m honoured to celebrate our new Toastmasters Club Officers, reflect on our achievements, and look ahead to our club goals for the rest of 2025. Thank you to everyone who has helped make our club a welcoming and thriving community.
Before we look ahead, I want to sincerely thank our outgoing officers for their hard work and dedication. Their efforts have laid the foundation for our club’s growth and success, including achieving our charter earlier this year. Thank you for your service and leadership!

Hobsonville Toastmasters Club Goals for July–December 2025
Our club’s mission is to help members develop communication and leadership skills in a positive and encouraging environment. We’re aiming high—but every goal is within reach if we work together. Here’s what we’re focusing on:
Membership
Maintain Membership at 30–35: We want a strong, supportive group—big enough for variety, small enough for connection.
Welcoming and Retaining Members: Every guest should feel at home. Let’s make sure our new members have mentors and all the support they need.
Education
Pathways Level 1 for All: Let’s get every member to complete Level 1 of their Pathways project—your foundation for growth.
Level 2 and Beyond: At least 4 members to complete Level 2, 2 members to complete Level 3, and at least 1 member to finish Level 4 before the end of the year.
Distinguished Club Program: We’re aiming for Smedley Distinguished status by December—a mark of a truly high-performing club.
Culture & Community
Fun, Varied Meetings: We’ll keep things fresh with creative Table Topics, special events, and maybe even a few surprises!
Stronger Community: More socials, more networking, and more celebrating each other’s wins.
Feedback & Support: Every voice matters. We’ll run regular “Moments of Truth” surveys to make sure the club grows with you.
Personal Growth
Encourage Leadership: If you’ve never taken on a meeting role or considered an officer position, now’s your time! Growth happens outside our comfort zones.
